Haiti Relief Trip (March 13-19) Pray About Supporting Us Financially
Our youth group is going to Haiti to help! We are going in March. Thatâ??s only a few weeks away. Please pray about supporting us financially. All money will be handled with integrity and be used only to buy supplies for the people of Haiti. It's cheaper to buy medical supplies, food, water in the Dominican Republic and drive it over to Haiti. You will be able to verify how we used the money by contacting our accounting department at Calvary Chapel Old Bridge after we bring back the receipts. 732-679-9222. HERE IS THE INFORMATION THAT OUR YOUTH GROUP STUDENTS RECEIVED ABOUT OUR TRIP:DATES: March 13-19WHERE: We are joining Score International (www.scoreinternational.org). Weâ??ve been with them in the Dominican Republic for 3 years now. Weâ??ll be housed in the same building as weâ??ve been in for most nights, and some nights closer to the Haiti Border.AIRPORT: Weâ??ll be flying in from Newark Airport to Santo Domingo in the DR.SAFETY: We will be safe. Score is great with security. Weâ??ll have missionaries with us and when needed armed escorts. We will only do ministry when it is safe. We will be flexible to change our plans to do what God wants us to do and be safe while we do it. We wonâ??t be going into the really dangerous areas of Haiti, but the outskirts of the country where people are forgotten and relief isnâ??t reaching.PASSPORTS: Required. Start the application this week if you are planning on going. Even if you are just considering it go to your local post office, library, etc. and start the application. They are good to have anyway.SCHOOL: You will have to ask your school to let you go.
